11th European Conference on Wood Modification
Information about the program.
The final programme of the 11th European Conference on Wood Modification is now available. Final programme (link to final programme .pdf) Authors are kindly requested to check the list of papers and report any problems to ecwm11@dagri.unifi.it.
The general programme of the conference is as follows:
Sunday 14 April
We have had the opportunity to organise the "aperitif" in a very special place such as Villa Bardini (https://maps.app.goo.gl/MihPzBnCpbw4pkfH9). For this reason, the visit to the "Museum of Anthropology and Ethnology of the University of Florence" has been cancelled. The meeting for the aperitif will be at 18.30 directly at Villa Bardini and the event will end at 20.30. Villa Bardini can be reached from the city centre (Ponte Vecchio) in a pleasant 15-minute walk, but it is important to know that Villa Bardini is located 100 metres uphill. A shuttle service will be organised for those who have requested a lift. There will be no shuttle service for the return journey. We would like to thank Fondazione CR Firenze for this opportunity.
Monday 15 April
Registration will open at 8.15 and coffee will be served. The conference starts at 8.45. The first day will end at 18.00. The conference banquet will start at 20.00 at Palazzo Budini Gattai (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Fpk99y8JnXcKF2E8A) in Piazza SS. Annunziata (6 minutes on foot from the Auditorium of S. Apollonia), where participants will travel by their own means.
Tuesday 16 April
Welcome coffee will be served from 8.15 and the conference will start at 9.00. The conference will end at 18.00.
Accompanying persons programme
Accompanying persons may attend the welcome cocktail on Sunday (18.30 at Villa Bardini) and the conference banquet on Monday evening. Also included is a guided tour of the city centre on 15 April at 9.45 (please be punctual) from the S. Apollonia Auditorium (https://maps.app.goo.gl/MPZ5vTRZKVzPfKJj7).
