Short bioJeehyun Lee is Professor in Sensory Science at Pusan National University, where we set up academic cooperation for student exchange in February 2018. She served as department head to Food Science and Nutrition department between March 2017 to February 2019 and Associate Dean of College of Human Ecology from March 2018 to February 2019. Before joining Pusan National University, she taught at Drexel University between 2009 and 2013. She has published manuscripts regarding descriptive analysis and consumer acceptability. She leads Sensory Science laboratory and currently advise 2 doctorate and 5 master students for their research. She has graduated 13 master students since joining PNU at 2013. At her home institution, she teaches Sensory evaluation and consumer behavior, Sensory evaluation of foods, Culinary science, and Food Chemistry.
General Research interestsHer research interests are consumer acceptability, eating motivation, emotions, and descriptive evaluation with practical implication. Sometimes her research involves specific consumer group such as dysphagia or diabete patients.
